Chipping & Putting Practice Greens

Chipping & Putting Practice Greens

Practice your pitching, chipping, and sand play at our chipping green area. Remember the short game can save you many strokes.

Here’s how  to get the most out of your practice:

  1. Grab a few balls that you would normally use on the golf course.
  2. Toss them to the side of the green, anywhere you want.
  3. Make sure you don’t “bump” them, meaning don’t give yourself a better lie.  You can’t bump the ball on the golf course, so don’t do it when you practice. Play it as it lies, always.
  4. Take your time, go through your normal routine, and focus on each shot.
  5. After you chipped those, go grab them and throw them down somewhere else around the green and repeat.

What’s the difference between chipping and pitching, and how does it affect your game? Watch this short video for more information.
