Chipping & Putting Practice Greens
Practice your pitching, chipping, and sand play at our chipping green area. Remember the short game can save you many strokes.
Here’s how to get the most out of your practice:
- Grab a few balls that you would normally use on the golf course.
- Toss them to the side of the green, anywhere you want.
- Make sure you don’t “bump” them, meaning don’t give yourself a better lie. You can’t bump the ball on the golf course, so don’t do it when you practice. Play it as it lies, always.
- Take your time, go through your normal routine, and focus on each shot.
- After you chipped those, go grab them and throw them down somewhere else around the green and repeat.
What’s the difference between chipping and pitching, and how does it affect your game? Watch this short video for more information.
Putting Green
Work on your putting at our practice putting green. “As long as you live, the hole will never come to the ball!” Take some advice from Butch Harmon School of Golf instructor Justin Parsons on how to improve your putting. Click here for video.

Nicolet Country Club opened for business back in 1960 as a 9-hole golf course. In 1980, NCC added a challenging back 9 and moved into a modern new pro-shop. In 1994 our re-designed lounge and restaurant was added to the facility.
This facility is one-of-a-kind. It is owned by nearly 500 stockholders, yet open to the public and guests.
